<p>Quantum cryptography relates to the totally secure transmission of information. Since the start of history all sorts of clever coding schemes have been invented that are allegedly unbreakable, only to be eventually broken. By using photons, the smallest unit of light, as the carrier medium, messages can be sent that are not breakable essentially because you cannot cut a photon in half, i.e. in tapping into the message you change the message.</p>

<h3><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">We are looking for volunteers </span></strong>(of any nationality) who would like to speak about their tertiary education experience in France to small groups of high school students. </h3>
<h3>The evening will be held at the Lycée Franco-Australien de Canberra (NSW Crescent, Barton) on Tuesday the 20th of September from 6pm (running until 7:30pm at the latest). After a short presentation by the French Embassy Attaché for Education the students will be put into small groups with the volunteers rotating around the room speaking about their positive tertiary education experiences in France.</h3>
